What it does
Colorization of black and white photos
Perhaps the most exiting application of Recolored lies with adding color to old black and white photos, through a process called colorization. This process has traditionally been done by hand, requiring great skill and patience to achieve good results. Recolored gives anyone ? from computer novice to expert graphical designer ? the chance to achieve professional looking results with little effort.
Replacing colors in color photos
If you"ve ever wondered what your house would look like in a different color now is your chance. Using Recolored you can change the colors of individual objects without affecting the rest of the image. All it takes is a few brush strokes, there"s no need to struggle with layers or complicated tools in expensive graphics packages.

How it works
Recolored uses sophisticated algorithms to process digital images, but it needs some help to complete the process. Using brush strokes the user indicates which colors different objects in the image should have. The graphical user interface sports several tools and functions that helps the user draw strokes and select fitting colors in an efficient manner. When the user is done the software takes over and propagates the colors from the brush strokes into the rest of the image. Recolored uses the grayscale intensities from the original to accurately blend in colors, and it takes care to mix colors appropriately near object boundaries.
Color library
The most difficult part of colorizing an image is often deciding which colors to use. To help you select colors that appear natural, we have put together a library of color presets that is included in Recolored. The colors are grouped into categories such as skin tones, hair colors, metals, wood, grass, fabrics and many more.

"If you share your project data with co-workers, you"ll quickly learn that everyone has different ways of organizing it. FolderViewer lets you organize and print your files in a number of different ways at once. With its Views functions, you can find all the files of a certain description--by date range, keyword, file type, and of seventy-odd other descriptors. You can even make copies of files to create new folders containing files of a certain description, such as spreadsheets created in a given month or MP3s of a particular genre."
Review of PC World
FolderViewer is not the umpteenth Windows Explorer replacement, it is a completely new way of organizing your files. Originally developed for law firms to support the secretarial staff and lawyers to keep track of time-spent on documents per client and author.
FolderViewer lists, prints, (un)packs, renames, distributes and converts and edits files and images. The files are presented on screen according to different Views. There are already 50 different Views implemented in the program, but you can design as many as you want and save them to disc. All nearly 110 file properties (i.e. Author) and derived properties (i.e. Week number) can be used to Group, Filter, Sort or Search on.
New Technology: Distribute files (i.e. MP3?s) to calculated sub-folders based on file properties like ..ArtistAlbum using very advanced, yet very easy to use Copy/Move Queries. Or distribute your MS Word documents created today, but not yet printed today to ..WeeknoAuthorCompany with just one click using advanced filters.
Use the Multi Rename Tool to rename files on the fly using the file properties in the new filename, correcting case properties as well.
The Folder content or search results can be saved or exported to CSV, Excel, XML or HTML files for example to publish your MS Word documents to a local Intranet.
(Un)Pack files and send them using your default mail client, complete with an attached report of all the included files and their properties.
Multi process and convert images to different formats with just a few mouse clicks.
